I don't think that this is as big of a disaster as you make it out to be, seems a little hyperbolized , however I do agree that the time it takes to charge is ridiculous. I bought a smart watch that only has wireless charging and though it's nice to just slap my watch on there, the compromise is that it takes almost 2 1/2 hours to charge. Wireless charging is just way to slow!
